Newest Developements...

Vacaville anonymous tip line: 707.449.5267

Not much has happened with the case lately. Lorraine Markle has made an appearance on the Vacaville Reporter Topix, and seems pretty angry. It's hard to decipher from the way she types, but it appears that Lorraine had been in a past relationship with a man who is now in prison for murder. If that's so, it appears that she's murderer bait.

Now that we know where all three men are who were suspects in De Anna's murder, maybe we can get an answer as to where Joe Silva is and if he'd like to share his knowledge with the police. One would think that he would be a very good witness in the case.

A while back on the thread, the members started to infer that Ariza was a scapegoat for the murder, and he was only arrested back in 1986 because the police thought that he would be willing to give information. I now tend to believe that Ariza is just as rotten and guilty as the others. A scapegoat, he was not, and we should continue to assume that he is a bona fide suspect in De Anna's murder.

Bitchin' 'bout Snitchin'

Vacaville anonymous tip line: 707.449.5267

The Vacaville Reporter Topix thread has a new post from some scumbag who had someone type a 'rhyme' about snitches... I'm assuming that the poster is either illiterate, or an ape therefore needed an aide in his post!

Anyway, I'm not impressed. I live in a city- a real city, full of urban living, and as we walk along the street, my fellow strangers look out for one another. We help elderly people in our apartment buildings if needed, notice if something's not right, call the cops when our neighbor is getting beat up, help others who may need help in our community etc. That would entail talking to the police if the situation arises~ and we do that, well- we do that because we are fucking, human beings.

If I knew who killed De Anna... I'd s-i-n-g!

Responsible Adults

Who are the adults entwined in this story of a young, girl's murder? There is Karl Van Loo, who was old enough to buy the alcohol for the party.

There is also mention that Marvin Markle Sr. arrived at the end of the party.... was it to 'rescue' his son, Jr., who had gotten mixed up in the demise of De Anna? What was he doing there?

We also have to acknowledge Jim Silva's uncle, Officer Manzur, who may have had an incentive to keep quiet what had happened at his nephew's house.

The two, older men, have passed away, and Karl still lives in Vacaville. Does he know any particulars or was he simply the guy who was old enough to be sent to the liquor store?

Looking in a Different Direction

Just yesterday, I looked up what day of the week Nov. 15, 1982 was--- and it was a Monday. This means that the party at Joe Silva's house probably wasn't a weekend 'rager' like I had assumed before.

The demographic kind of changes in my mind; maybe there weren't as many kids there as I had originally thought, and perhaps there wasn't a 'code of silence' among the party goers.

Does anyone happen to know if Deanna had some major enemies that may have wanted to hurt her? It may not have been a random attack, but something that was planned by kids who, perhaps, hated De Anna.

Jim Z, Aging Well?

One of the people who is posting on the Vacaville Reporter thread got these pictures from James Zimmermann's Facebook page.
I wanted to be extra careful in the search for Jim Zimmermann because posting someone's information who just happens to have the same name, yet has nothing to do with the case, is totally unfair to that 'random' person who happens to have the same name. From all the cross references I've found on the internet, I'm pretty sure we've got the right guy. If not, please leave a comment, and I'll be sure to take down the photos.
Smiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiile and say cheeeeeeeeeese!

Newspaper Articles Before the Internet!

Here is another blog dedicated to De Anna and her family; it tells the end of her story.

28 Years

...and there's no arrest in sight. We have all been speculating about what happened, but perhaps if we contact the CA attorney general, the case may be examined with new eyes. May I suggest that you email Jerry Brown and let him know our concern?

Here is the link to contact the office of the attorney general: http://caag.state.ca.us/
